Faculty Council Elections 2026

On Friday 5 June 2026, during a public hearing of the Election Committee of the Faculty Council of the faculty of Law, Economics and Governance, the results of the faculty Elections have been announced. Below, you will find the composition of the staff delegation and the student delegation of the new council, that will start after the summer holidays.

The LEG Election Committee organises elections for the student delegation in the council annually, and every two years for the staff representation. In 2026, there were elections for the student delegation in the Faculty Council from 1 until 3 June.

Staff members

The staff member delegation of the Faculty Council has 4 districts, with the followinng seats: School of Law: 4 seats, School of Economics (U.S.E.): 2 seats, School of Governance (USG): 2 seats, Faculty Service Organisation (FSO): 2 seats.

These employees will represent their districts in the Faculty Council in 2025-2027:

Studentengeleding

De student member delegation of the Faculty Council has 4 districts, with the following seats: School of Law: 4 seats, School of Economics (U.S.E.): 3 seats, School of Governance (USG): 3 seats. In the School of Economics district, in 2026 no elections were held due to the absence of a list of candidates. These seats for 2026-2027 have been divided between candidates for the School of Law and the School of Governance.
